Aramid flame-retardant fabric
1313 Meta Aramid Flame Resistant Fabric is a high-performance textile made from meta-aramid fibers, similar to Nomex, widely used in industrial protective applications. This fabric features inherent flame resistance, meaning its flame-retardant properties will not diminish after repeated washing or long-term use. When exposed to flame or high heat, it does not melt or drip, but forms a stable carbonized barrier to protect the wearer. It also offers excellent heat resistance (continuous use up to approximately 200°C), along with strong mechanical performance, including high tensile strength, tear resistance, and durability, making it ideal for heavy-duty workwear. To enhance comfort and cost efficiency, the fabric can be blended with viscose, modacrylic, or other fibers, providing a balance of protection, softness, and breathability.
