Aramid fiber fabrics
Performance and characteristics
Aramid is a high strength two-by-two weave fabric woven from KEVLAR fibers. The twill weave pattern weave creates a highly flexible fabric that easily conforms to contoured surfaces and compound curves while offering the aesthetic of the 2x2 twill weave pattern. It is Ideal for impact resistant applications requiring the lightweight, high strength properties of aramid where pattern show-through is desirable.
Main specifications of aramid
Aramid specifications: 200d, 400d, 800d, 1000d, 1500d,3000D
applications: Fire-resistant gloves, fire-resistant clothing, temperature-resistant and wear-resistant clothing, bulletproof vests, bulletproof panels, composite materials
woven fabric is used in a wide range of industrial applications and is the most widely available and least expensive composite fabric. It is relatively lightweight, has moderate tensile and compressive strength and is easy to handle and machine. High strength, dimensional stability, design flexibility and excellent electrical properties are some of the characteristics that insure optimum performance.
